We, at the Assembly of Believers, celebrate the Resurrection of Christ.  This means we do not include the pagan symbols that are associated with this religious observance such as bunny rabbits, eggs, or even the name Easter. The name Easter is derived from a pagan goddess' name that represents fertility. Subsequently, the symbolism of the rabbit and eggs are for fertility, renewal, and rebirth.

Through the generations, churches have incorporated these symbols by having Easter egg hunts and Easter baskets under the guise of "its for the kids," while knowing the truth of its origins. This should not be so. The death and resurrection of Jesus Christ should be taken seriously to heart not diluted or converted to a game of hide and seek.

We would rather operate in truth and not continue to mix and match beliefs just to fit in or make others comfortable. The rabbit nor the eggs have nothing to do with our Lord's death or resurrection. We celebrate His Passion for us. We observe His death, burial, and resurrection.
